What should the sample video include?

The sample video is a 3 to 5 mins video; you should represent the course content and ideas through this video. To be given full feedback, you will need to appear talking and some slide insertions or visual presentations following our guidelines.

The content team will review the sample video and get back to you with feedback within 5 working days.

What is the process after sending the sample video?

After sending the sample video, you will go through the following steps: The content team will review the sample video and provide you with feedback, whether it’s (Accepted, Rejected or Requires edits). If the sample video requires edits, you will be requested to consider those edits and provide a final sample. Once the sample video is approved, you will shoot the whole course following the same quality of the approved sample video. By completing the course, you will send us the following required files. (Course outline and mentor profile in both English and Arabic, High-quality photo with solid background)

When can I review and sign the contract?

Once you complete the course, we will share the contract to check and sign; you will receive a signed copy from our end.

Can I request to review the contract at an earlier stage?

We can share a draft of the contract to view with you, and if you have any questions, our acquisitions team will be glad to assist.

Should I appear in the whole course, or can I use a screencast model with voice over?

It depends on the course content; if the course is practical, relying more on visual presentations and tools, you can produce the course using the screencast model.

How do I get paid? What is the revenue share for the self-produced courses?

a. In the event that the number of enrollments is equal or less than 1,000 (one thousand) enrollments, you will have a 30% revenue share. b. In the event that the number of enrollments is between 1,001 (One Thousand and One) and 3,000 (Three Thousand) enrollments, you will have a 50% revenue share. c. In the event that the number of enrollments is 3,001 and higher, you will have a 75% revenue share.

Should the content be edited only through “Camtasia”?

Camtasia is a recommended tool, but you are free to use any other tool with high-quality production.

How many courses I’m allowed to produce through your platform?

There is no limit to the number of courses produced per mentor as long the course is approved.

Do you provide media services? Can you assist with the editing phase?

We can recommend our media partners (Studios) to help with the shooting and editing.

Can I refer another instructor to you?

Currently, the Selfie model doesn’t include talks; however, we will direct the relevant team to assist with this matter.

Can I do any updates to my course after release (add more lectures, material)

You can definitely request to update your course anytime to maintain a rich and up-to-date content.
