About this course

The art of cinematic make-up is a unique and exciting world that combines creativity and technical skill to produce stunning visual effects. Prosthetic, temporary, or cinematic make-up is used in fields such as theater, cinema, and television with the aim of achieving special effects, such as determining the age, concealing wrinkles, modifying skin color, changing shape, representing scars, wounds and injuries, adding prosthetic limbs, creating tricks to get closer to reality or exploring creative fantasy worlds. In this course, we will learn about the raw materials and tools used in the art of film and television make-up, and how to use them to create effects such as artificial blood, bruises, burns, scratches, wounds, and others.
