About Mentor

Born in Riyadh-Saudi Arabia in 1400 AH/ 1980, Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Fhied, is the first official Sign Language interpreter in the Kingdom and the first certified media translator for satellite channels in 2001. In 2004, he was considered the first academic translator in the Kingdom, and the leader of a team of outstanding translation experts. He is also the leader of the Bayan Cooperative Team for serving people of determination and an international certified trainer. He is considered a true expert in the areas of accessibility for people of determination, sign-language, and deaf issues in the Kingdom. His keen interest in helping deaf people stems from the fact that he belongs to a family consisting of 22 deaf individuals as well as a number of certified translators, which made him the most prominent figure in this field both regionally and internationally.
