Mohamed Rafie

Mohamed Rafie is an Egyptian novelist and screenwriter. He has two novels and five short story collections, in addition to a book of short films and a novel translation. He is the author of the book “Scenarios - A Guide to Drama Professionalism.” He is the recipient of the Sawiris Literary Foundation Award for the best short story collection in the youth section for the year 2012, which is the collection The Splendor of Water. His collection, Noon Honey, was shortlisted for the Kuwaiti Forum Award 2016. He won a gold medal at the Chekhov Conference in Russia. One of his latest works is the movie Karma, directed by Khaled Youssef, 2018.
