About this course

This course introduces the principles of sign language by initially reviewing the most important words used in our daily lives. It covers various topics such as the alphabet, weekdays, colors, family, household items, clothing, accessories, fruits, beverages, food, vegetables, and unified Egyptian and Arabic numbers. This course will make it easier to communicate with a person who is deaf or hard of hearing—be it a family member, friend, colleague, or neighbor. Learning sign language will also give you the chance to get to know many of the people who use it, and will allow you to discover a whole new world of opportunities.
