Mayada Emam

Mayada Emam has long been interested in the field of deaf education and sought to learn the sign language until she was able to start translating the unified Egyptian and Arabic signs. She occupied many deaf and sign language interpretation-related positions prior to becoming the Vice President of the National Association of Sign Language Interpreters. Mayada is also a member of many relevant organizations and associations, such as the National Association for Deaf in Cairo, El Safa Association for Deaf & Mute Care in Giza, Al Nahda Association for the Deaf, and Al Marg Future Association for Deaf & Hard of Hearing in Cairo.
